After the marriage blew up, this song was sitting for a long time, not finished, and though i knew there was a good song there, it seemed a bit lifeless. The Bowie vocal approach was very deliberate and immediately elevated the track, inspiring the psuedo-operatic outro and string arrangement as well. From pain to pleasure!
