Singer, songwriter Suzanne Brindamour has long wanted to combine her skills as a soundtrack composer with her talent as a songwriter to create a musical landscape that includes the dichotomy of song and instrumentals, modern and traditional. This opportunity came with the making of "Barnstorming,” a documentary film that proves friends can literally drop out of the sky.
"Barnstorming" is the true story of an unexpected friendship that developed between a farm family and two antique airplanes pilots who land in their field.
The film’s director, Bryan Reichhardt has described the music as one of the essential characters of the story. Through the soundtrack you can experience the pivotal moments of the film and the accompanying emotions, from quiet sunset front porch chat, to the excitement of the flying circus. The song "Fireflies” sets the mood perfectly while the littlest children search for fireflies at dusk.
The 14 tracks feature acoustic guitar, ukulele, piano, and kalimba all played by Brindamour plus upright bass, banjo, drums, percussion and electric guitar by contributing musicians.
“Barnstorming” debuted at the largest air show in the world in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on opening night, July 26, 2009 to a crowd of over 7,000 people. To see the trailer, find out more or purchase this great film go to www.barnstormingmovie.com

"Barnstorming" the music...
author: Gayle
Suzanne Brindamour is a gifted singer/songwriter. I have her two previous albums and never get tired of listening to them. The "Barnstorming" soundtrack is a testament to her talent. It is filled with melodies that just make you feel good. The film is a must see too! Once you see the documentary "Barnstorming," the soundtrack will take you soaring back to the beautiful scenes and warm faces of the people in the film.
