Britt Craig was born in Atlanta, Ga and was heavily influenced by the many ancient Black bluesmen performing on the streets of the old Deep South. Later he experienced the commercial folk and blues revival that occured at about the same time that the real blues musicians disappeared from the streets. Mr Craig spends his life trying to carry on the tradition of good original street music. Britt has traveled a great deal and his music reflects many other cultural influences.
He is the owner of Hard Traveler Music Publishing and is actively searching for the last of the authentic performing street musicians. Each person he sponsors is actually perfoming somewhere on some streetcorner, hence the name of his homesite VirtualStreeCorner.com.
You can experience the authentic feeling of live streetcorner musicians with no studio nor artificial enhancement with the CD's of Hard Traveler Music.

Awesome... puts Buffett to shame!
author: Robby V. Brown
Britt's music is nothing short of awesome! His lyrics comprise some of the most fascinating and inmaginative literary genius that I have seen or heard. BUY THIS CD and then come on down to St. Augustine and hear him in person! His music reflects his passion for individual liberty and personal responsibility. Britt is a great artist, citizen, and Patriot!

This guy is a good songwriter
author: Wezel
When I first heard this Cd I was pleasantly surprised. I knew that it had been recorded in a low budget way and I knew that Britt was not a "big recording artist".
From the first cut on the album "Go Easy On Me Woman" to the last "Nichole" I was drawn in by his songwriting ability.
I also really enjoy the rough-hewn style of vocals and the raw simplicity of the songs.
One of my favorite cuts is "Mansions in the Sky", it's very sweet.
I think this is a very enjoyable album throughout.
