Publicist Dwayne Michaels reviews 'Brizite's' "Hard Hats and Steel Toes."
author: Dwayne L. Michaels, Publicist/music Reviewer
The long-awaited "Brizite" CD titled, "Hard Hats and
Steel Toes," seems poised to take a leading chart
position upon its release, having been well worth the
wait.
With the diverse repertoire of 21 selections from the
Houston-based recording artist, and without losing its
scope of individuality, it is best compared to the ever
present energetic productions of Ice Cube, if a
comparison must be made in the interest of consumer
identification.
The first single is "Dangle Jangle," a smart, almost
sassy, danceable depiction of artist "Brizite's" having
espied a voluptuously endowed lady within the dancing
crowd, then admonishing her, basically, to 'just let go'.
So goes the chorus...
"Let's see them thangs dangle,
Make that body jangle,
Pop it from different angles,
She ain't no stranger"
Ahhh...sweet bird of youth...
The original musical accompaniment, combined with
special effects, is both unique and surprising, serving
as prominent elements contributing to this refreshing
gem while foregoing the canned beats usually found
in this genre. In fact, this work is one of the most
refreshing to come along the yellow brick Hip Hop
road in quite some time.
Produced by Mr. Fatt Traxx, whom himself is making
quite a name these days in H-Town, the overall theme
is one of storytelling...tales espoused of real-life,
hard-time existence.
Officially to be released on July 15, this CD is
available right here on the CD Baby site, and a sample
of "Dangle Jangle" can be heard at

The 'Bayou City' appears poised and "destined"
(pardon the pun) to present yet another prospective
multi-platinum artist to the world at large on the heels
of its recent success..."Destiny's Child."
