Album Notes

Hell hath no fury like three chicks torn between the trailer park and insanity-driven, chaotic punk delirium. Hailing from the Motor City, these three red-hot broads deliver an unending and brutal onslaught of supercharged rock n' roll and continue to systematically fuel the seemingly insatiable passions of frantic fans everywhere.

Broadzilla debuted the release of their second CD "Lady Luck," to a sold out crowd in their hometown of Detroit Rock City. With the first, second and third pressing of that disc immediately sold out, the girls are enjoying its rapid fourth run and are gearing up for its fifth pressing. The bands first CD release "Broadzilla vs. the Tramp-O-Lean," quickly sold-out of its first and only pressing in record time.

WRIF 101.1 FM, Detroit's #1 rock station, has been playing Broadzilla religiously and championing their powerfully ripping tunes since the bands inception. In 2000 the band caught the attention of Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit, who invited them to perform opening night of the Limp Bizkit & Cypress Hill tour in Detroit. This high-profile gig landed them an interview with Durst that aired on MTV as well as various mentions in Spin and Rolling Stone. Broadzilla has also enjoyed small features in Alternative Press, Rockrgrl and The Netherlands' Metal Maidens.

Venturing out of D-town regularly to perform throughout the United States, Canada and the UK, Broadzilla has opened for such acts as the Wildhearts, Bif Naked, L7, Deftones, Joan Jett, L7, the Lunachicks, Anthrax and Skid Row among many others. In 1999 Broadzilla was invited to perform as part of MP3.com's Music and Technology Tour where they performed along side the Goo Goo Dolls.

Broadzilla is constantly on the road, touring in support of "Lady Luck" on Diamond Star Records, the bands own imprint. Of course, it goes without saying, that none of the girl's accomplishments have simply been handed to them. All the numerous accolades have been painstakingly earned exclusively through years of hard work, dogged perseverance and an iron will of determination to succeed. All by themselves, this genuine DIY band has managed to not only break down and demolish many formidable barriers, but has also worked aggressively to overcome the all too typical stereotypes rampant throughout the music industry at all levels.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!! Broadzilla is a relentless, uncompromising, unstoppable and monstrous maelstrom of destructive and debilitating decibels, rip-roaring through your town and leaving it an utterly annihilated, devastated and smoldering ruin.

Broadzilla is:
Rachel May, guitars/vocals
Kim Essiambre, bass/backing vocals
Angie Manly, drums/backing vocals
