"It is not always what is on the radio that influences me - it's usually other people".
The music is a collection of his demos and studio tracks from the past few years. It also includes two live tracks.
"I had always felt guilty about not being able to do more for the artists who send me their tapes to my record company. I saw I had some extra space on this disc and I thought, 'why not bring along a few others for the ride?'".
The artist felt that since gaining national exposure on TV, via The Howard Stern Show, that this would be the best time to have another release.
Realizing the struggle of getting publicity and airplay, as an artist, Stewart took it upon himself to include the music of eight other artists on his new CD.
This has been aired both nationally and internationally.
The music is a rather wide diversity of pop music and the additional artists were added to give the listener an idea of what influences he hears and how it is reflected in his music.
Brodian continues to record and perform.

Here's what would happen if Howard Stern, the King Of All Media, procreated with Phoebe Buffay of NBC's "Friends": Stewart Brodian's "Friends & Strangers."
If any song says everything you need to know about an artist, it's Stewart's "Wannabe," with its simple melody and to-the-point lyrics. Another treat is the nerdly dance tune "Monica Lewinsky." From the Zelig-like "Stew and Bill" cover art to the packed disc (which includes a lucky thirteen songs by Brodian, plus eight by other artists), "Friends & Strangers" is sure to be a fave with fans of both Howie and Stewie.
