Singer-songwriter-pianist-producer, Gentry Bronson, released "Home" in 2004 after a particularly tumultuous year. A live in the studio recording that captures a raw soulfulness, a timeless desperation and a world weary wiseness, "Home" has garnered many fans around the world.
Gentry Bronson has been compared to Ryan Adams, Michael Stipe, David Gray, Billy Joel, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, Tori Amos, and others of that ilk. He has released seven records since 2001 and has performed around the world. His dramatic and soulful performances continue to receive rave reviews. And his varied music releases cross over many boundaries, building fans in the rock, pop, folk, jazz, blues, ambient and new age genres.
Gentry's other CDs, all available through CDBaby, include:
Gentry Bronson - No War
Gentry Bronson & Dave Hoover - Santa Fe Sky (instrumental)
Gentry Bronson - Tranquillo (instrumental)
The Night Watchmen - Lost In California

And on January 9th, within ONE month, we were in the Lloyd Hotel in Amsterdam more than pleasantly surprised again with the performance of yet another heck of a singer/songwriter, we had not heard of before. This time it was Gentry Bronson. Well... HELLO! This live studio-recorded CD is as outstanding as the live gig we've seen. We were truly touched in heart & soul by the musical tales. Great lyrics & outstanding playing. Highly emotional, without ever becoming sentimental. Coming from Holland I can't find the right words to describe the wonder of this album. Highly reccommendable! If he's in your neighbourhood: go see him live.
