2006 LA Music Award Record of the Year Winner. Brooke Wilkes is a singer-songwriter-actress from Anchorage Alaska. She has already made a name for herself in California, with performances on Star Search as well as the TV pilot, “Kris Lamans - MUSIC THROUGH THE YEARS” and Star Search. You can see Brooke performing regularly at Disneyland and at night clubs such as Club 7969, The Knitting Factory, Room 5, The Roxy, The Central, The Troubadour, Scruffy O'Shea's, Lunaria, The Cinegrill, Genghis Cohen, and Crooked Bar.

Regular Vegas showrooms include Caesar's Palace, the Monte Carlo Resort, Harrahs Casinos, Bellagio, Aladdin, Plaza Hotel and the Golden Nugget to name a few. Along with her rock shows and musical theatre appearances, Brooke often performs our very challenging national anthem for the L.A. Lakers, the Anaheim Angels, the Mighty Ducks and the L.A. Kings. Brooke has performed starring roles in theatrical productions such as: Evita, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, And the World Goes 'Round, Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, West Side Story, the 1940's Radio Hour, and Into the Woods.

Brooke started her musical career at a very early age in the Anchorage Alaska area. She has appeared on the same bill with such celebrities as the Beach Boys, Ben E. King, Jewel, the Pointer Sisters, Richard Carpenter, LA Music Award Lifetime Achievement Winner & Santana Lead Singer-Greg Walker, Scooby Doo’s Matthew Lillard, Whose Line is it Anyway star, Wayne Brady, Vanessa Williams, Kristine W. and Doc Severinson. Brooke's voice has been featured on numerous T.V. programs, feature films and radio commercials and her original recordings have been aired around the country.

Her debut CD “Never too Late” received a nod from Music Connection Magazine, naming her album 1 of the top 10 of the year. Her latest album entitled “The Vanilla Life”, is also available on CDBaby.com

Brooke Wilkes' CD is reminiscent of Laura Turner and Sarah Brightman. But with just the right touch of soul that reminds us of a young Betty Wright. It can be relaxing and/or soul stirring depending on what mood you want to be in.
