Album Notes

Steve Brosky grew up in the shadows of the industrial smoke stacks in the working class city of Allentown, Pa.

This is some of the best rock, rhythm and blues music from Steve Brosky who writes and sings about "the streets of Allentown, PA."

Steve Brosky is a unique singer/songwriter with a great raspy voice (think Dylan meets Tom Waits meets Van Morrison)whose music is supported by a fabulous band.

Get this CD now, listen and be amazed at Steve Brosky.

We reviewed it at our outdoor ping pong party last sat nite.

We have a cadillac so that one we play loud and the windows vibrate.I think that song about filling my robin cup with lemonade must be in some backyard picnic with the kids passing out lemonade. I love it.The album is very good. thanks

My 10 uear old daughter and six year old son know "The Plywood Gypsy" by heart.
author: Gene Galligan
My 10 year old daughter and 7 year old son know "The Plywood Gypsy" by heart!! This seasoned rocker has created a CD in many styles of rock, but it's not just the same old stuff. Steve's unique style and phrasing make this recording FRESH. First class players and backup vocals. It is only a matter of the WHO YOU KNOW in the record business that this artists mug is not on the cover of Rolling Stone!!!

Music for the masses!
author: Laura T Lynch of Kweevak.com
Steve's music is gritty, roots-rock with shades of the blues and R&B. Steve has a gravely voice, which works well in his varied musical arrangements. Brosky's songs have many characters that are sometimes autobiographical. His stories include compassion and wit in fertile, instrumental scenes. Trouble features an assortment of talented players including guitar wizard Steve Kimock. 'Cadillac Radio' and 'Borrowed Time' are the two opening tracks on this eight-song collection. Both are solid rockers with abundant instrumentation including horns, keys and the B3. Each has strong guitar parts and interesting storytelling. Combined the two songs set the tone for the rest of the album with some stylistic changes. Steve Brosky is a musician for the masses, writing rock songs that people can relate to and enjoy!

This disc is way underpriced compared to other artist's samples I've heard.....
author: Steve Scheier
After hearing the samples, this disc is a bargain. It is way underpriced, comparatively speaking, to the other samples I've heard from other artists on this site. Great, timeless compositions. A voice as unique and identifiable as Springsteen, Waits or dare I say, the "D" guy. At this price, scoop em up and hand em out at Christmas. Your friends and family will love you for it! Great stuff, from an unknown soldier.
