Des Moines rock band, Brother Trucker, is led by singer/songwriter Andy Fleming, whose songs pay homage to the underpaid, the under-loved, the unemployed and the disconnected. Fleming's vocals and rhythm guitar are accompanied by Mike Fitzpatrick on lead, John Conlan on drums and Lyle Kevin Hogue on bass. This formerly out of print debut album from 2000 has been described as a heady mix of roots country and western pop with influences of Springsteen, Steve Earle, Bob Dylan, and Neil Young.
