Album Notes

Brownie Mary has been together (in some way, shape or form) since 1993 and continues to sell out venues throughout the Midwest. Their faithful fan base stretches from Columbus, Ohio to New York and South to Sarasota. After two self-released CD's sold in excess of 20,000 units, they signed to Blackbird/Atlantic Records and followed up with their first national release, NAKED.

Brownie Mary enjoyed substantial airplay with NAKED, and toured extensively, playing 250 dates in the twelve months following its release with artist's including the Dave Mathew's Band, Fuel, and Greenday (just to name a few).

Since then, Brownie Mary took some time off while lead singer Kelsey Friday spent a year or so in Los Angeles collaborating with a variety of incredible songwriters. She took some of those songs, wrote some new ones with the band, and there you have it...... their new, independent release, "Collide".

This is a band you MUST experience whether it's live or just in your car...... you won't forget what you hear...... and you certainly won't forget what you see!!!!! It's like a PARTY IN YOUR EARHOLE!!!!

Excellent song writing combined with some bitchin' rock!

Brownie Mary does it again. Lead singer Kelsey Friday is able to write poignant lyrics that the listener can definitely relate to and backs it up with infectious, rocking melodies. The disc's sound is very diverse in style, but all-around excellent. It's one of the few CD's you can put in, hit play, and sit back and enjoy...unless you want to hear a song again or get your groove on!
