Album Notes

I a singer/songwriter from Miami Beach, as well an anthropologist, author and activist. These songs reflect the scars on my face, the twinkle in my eye, and the circle of my soul. My music is an eclectic blend of folk rock, hi-tech blues, juju calypso, quixotic country, romantic rhapsodies, and rambunctious poetry. I am blessed to have the Ike and Val Woods band playing on many of the tracks. I started writing songs a long time ago ─ but only decided to start recording and performing, after the music muse whispered these words in my ear: When you seek truth, first you are one, then you are wonder / When you speak truth, first you are silent, then YOU ARE THUNDER.
