Album Notes

This is the 16th CD release by N.C. based singer/songwriter and poet Bruce Piephoff. All recordings are all original material and are all on Flyin' Cloud Records(www.flyincloudrecords.com). Bruce sings and plays acoustic fingerstyle guitar in the tradition of Elizabeth Cotten and Etta Baker. He writes all of his songs and has been compared to Woody Guthrie, early Bob Dylan and Townes Van Zandt. Bruce has been performing on the folk circuit for many years and has played at Merlefest, Kerrville Folk Festival, The Kennedy Center in D.C. and many other venues across the U.S. He also has a book of poetry, Honky Tonk Stradivarius, to his credit and earned a Master of Fine Arts in poetry from UNC-Greensboro.
