Bruised Heels source for the title of thier album is Genesis 3:15, the First gospel preached: "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head,
and you shall bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:15 (ESV).

About the band:
All of us have a love for guitar rock/heavy metal, and have been influenced by Van Halen, Boston, Styx, Judas Priest, The Scorpions, AC/DC etc, but we all have come to know Jesus Christ along the way, and now we are using the gift of music that God has been honing in us for all these years to Rock it up for The King!

All of our songs are original compositions written by longtime friends Lonnie and Michael, with lyrics so clear the message is unmistakable. You will know where we stand right off the bat! There will be no wondering “what are these guys all about???".

Songs like “Come on Home”, and “I Don’t Need Suicide” talk about the traps we can fall into by using drugs and alcohol, the depression, and they answer the questions about what it takes to get out of the rut caused by that lifestyle.
“Psalm 23” is a bible verse that is quoted many times over, every day, throughout the world, and we quote it word for word in this rocked up version with a very melodic structure, and a powerful vocal delivery.
“Forgive One Another” is a real rock anthem, talking about just that...forgiveness...and how it will always unite us. The rest of the songs are absorbed into the heart once you give them a listen, and then you won’t be able to get them out of your head!

What is a bruised heel? It is a Christian rock band talking about forgiveness, the first prophecy in the bible, the prodigal son, human nature, alcohol and drug abuse, father God, victory, not a sports injury, from the NFL of NBA, nolanding hard after a dunk.
The heel bone (calcaneus) is protected by a pad of fat. Repeated pounding of the heel can cause the fat pad to be pushed up the side of the heel leaving less of a protective layer causing heel pain. Bruised Heel treatment This injury is also sometimes known as Policeman's heel. It is common in sports requiring a lot of impact onto the heel and in particular soldiers marching up and down on the parade square.
