Graduated in Fine Arts in 1983,
Bruno Chevillon studied classical double-bass since 1979 with Joseph Fabre.
He began playing jazz in 1983 as a student, and later as a professional with Andre Jaume then with Claude Barthelemy.
Almost at the same time, the ARFI hired him for the Marvelous Band in which he met the prolific Louis Sclavis. Since the, he's part of all the formations of the clarinetist and works with him in all his projects (theater, movie, danse).

In less than ten years, Bruno Chevillon imposed himself as the best french doublebass player of his generation.
His style and his intelligence makes him a reliable partner.
