"InTRO is exellent, a little deeper than your previous albums and with a lot of details" Paul Rijkens [iO Pages Mag]
"I like it very much. Your style ranges nicely between the textural and the melodic, and I think your use of organic and acoustic (at least sampled) elements is very tasteful. The last piece on the CD reminds me of some of the better work of Vangelis" Robert Rich
"Pure introspective beauty and a real treat for ears and soul" Bert Strolenberg [E-dition Mag]
"InTRO is one of the finest ambient releases we've heard this year" [Synthtopia.com]
"Every track on this CD is superb" Jourdan Laik [Lounging Sound Radio]
"A superb dose of ambience whose power is understated but vibrant, evoking a series of entries into the inner mind" Matt Howarth [Sonic Curiosity]
"Harmonious album that draws the listener into restful reverie - on into emotional swells and wonderfully indulgent quiet melancholy" Morpheus Music UK
"I have to admit an special admiration for this composer. There are composers that create their own music, but besides this Bruno Sanfilippo introduces us in it with this cd full of dreams and hopes, a job to taste little by little, slowly while we submerge in all the ideas that brings note by note, track by track" Roberto Vales [Lost Frontier Radio]
"Bruno Sanfilippo make a visionary statement of such extraordinary beauty and diversity that it seems to have been conceived by a collective of gifted artists. Marius-Christian Burcea" Journeys to the Infinite Radio
"A sensual and memorable piece of work" Mike G. [Ambient Music Guide]
"His gift for picture music is the common thread running through it, his earlier works sounding more like soundtrack music and his later works moving into more ambient realms, though still with a strong sense of imagery" Phil Derby Editor & Publisher Electroambient Space.
Bruno Sanfilippo has been a musician & producer of electronic music since 1991.
He was born in Buenos Aires in 1965 later and moved to Barcelona around 2000. Bruno became a Music Professor in the Galvani Conservatory in 1988 and founder of the label ad21music ten years later.
His discography consists of the albums: Sons of the light[1991], The New Kingdom[1995], Solemnis[1998], Suite Patagonia[2000], Visualia[2003], Indalo (w/ Max Corbacho)[2004],
Ad Libitum[2004], Anthology 1991-2004 [2005], InTRO[2006], Piano Textures[2007], Ambessence piano & drones (w/ Mathias Grassow)[2008], Auralspace[2009]
He has well as contributed to several compilations and also collaborated on other projects with Byron Metcalf and Alio Die. Through his contemplative music the intention is to transmit something other than emotional stimulus or simple entertainment.
It obsesses itself with a search through different things-the amazing, the magical and the deep. In dreams, there’s no imagined thing that’s too absurd, too strange Bruno Sanfilippo's music comes from that inexhaustible and shameless source.
