Bru is innovative and laid-back. Definitely worth listening!
author: Susan Guillory
Bru is able to transform from an easy-going entity ("Adaptation") to a pack of partyers ("Say Word") to a boiling force not to be reckoned with ("Gray Area"). I admire their ability to avoid niches (many artists are unable to get outside of their comfort zones and expand their art). It is apparent that time and energy are put into both the beats and the lyrics. I'd recommend this cd to anyone who truly appreciates what hip hop is supposed to be about.

This is some real hiphop!!!!

I loved this album. It takes me back to a time when hiphop was still pure and at its peak ('94). It gives you the oldskool feel but the emcees are like they're from the future or something. I saw these cats at a show about two years ago in LA and they ripped it. A must buy.
