Bryan G. Rowe is a Baltimore native. He began his study of the piano at age five and received an organ scholarship to the preparatory division of the Peabody Conservatory while in high school. Bryan attended Lebanon Valley College of Pennsylvania, majoring in Sacred Music, Organ Performance, and Business. In addition to his musical interests, Bryan discovered a passion for teaching mathematics to high school students and graduated from Johns Hopkins University with his graduate degree in teaching gifted students. Bryan received his Doctoral degree in the spring of 2005 from the Graduate Theological Foundation, majoring in Sacred Music with summer residencies in Oxford and Salisbury, England. Bryan holds his associate certification in organ and Choirmaster certification, both from the American Guild of Organists.
"I have had the privilege of recording three of Bryan's albums, and I have to say that his compositions and improvisations are some of the most stirring and provocative that I have ever listened to."
