Country music--kind of. Big Sky’s funny, strange and enjoyable approach to country music will have you tapping your toes and laughing all at once. If you are an honest-to-goodness cowboy, please don't be offended; The Big Sky Country Boys tip their hats to the real men in chaps out there so let's just link elbows, spit some chew and have ourselves a little hoedown.
The Big Sky Country Boys is a band composed of lifelong friends who are tranfixed on making as many people laugh as possible. Many members of the group have played together in previous projects in varying genres, including; funk, heavy metal, new wave and experimental.
Doing country the Big Sky way means laughs, grins and shuffling feet. These guys have so much fun making music that it spills right through to the listener. Though many songs on their original album, BEER, poke fun at country--sometimes with subtlety, sometimes without--their sound is clean and brilliant.

I put the CD [Big Sky Country Boys: Beer] in to my CD player and started listening, and immediately felt like drinking - which I did. Then, a few minutes later I got pulled over by a cop. Something I’m sure you rednecks have experienced on more than a few occasions.
Your music is an inspiration to angry white drinkers the world over. If you ever find yourselves in my "neck" of the woods and feel like raising some hell, just give me a holler (unless you’re in jail, then don’t call me. I ain’t bailin’ you out).
