Album Notes

LIVE..Warts and All, is the 2nd CD release from Idaho's premier bluegrass band, The Buckhorn Mountain Boys. Since the release of their first CD in 2003, the "Boys" have added the talents of bass player and harmony vocalist, Donna Bond. The BMB also credits Donna with the title of the CD. She calls those little mistakes that most bands make during a live performance...Warts, and since this CD was recorded live in front of an audience, you may hear a few "WARTS". This album was recorded direct to disc using only a single microphone just like they use in all of their live performances. Steve Fulton at Audio Lab Recording in Boise, Idaho did all of the editing and mastering for this CD. Since the release of their first CD, the Buckhorn Mountain Boys have had the honor of opening shows for the Del McCoury Band and was also selected by Boise Weekly Magazine as one of the Top 5 Bands in Boise, Idaho for 2004. The Buckhorn Mountain Boys are: Al Jackson, Lead Vocals, Guitar & Mandolin. Mike Bond, Banjo & Vocals. Rue Frisbee, Fiddle, Guitar & Vocals. Donna Bond, Bass & Vocals.
