notes

Upon the slow river of life, the author of creativity
itself, is currently painting his masterpiece. The
changing scenes of history have played their parts
of comedies and tragedies but nothing has
prepared us for the great showdown of what is
known to us as the 21st century...
Whether you care or not, one must admit
that we are on the brink of something
extraordinary, and a quick glance into the films
and music of these times, echo’s a society that is
more open-minded to this spiritualism then ever
before. More and more people are accepting that
death, on this dimension, is not the end...but
perhaps a beginning.
So here I am on this slow river of life and
my journey has led me to you...included here in
these pages is a variety of songs that I’ve
recorded over the years, some of these
recordings go back 10 yrs. or more and showcase
the talents of Doug Peters(drums) and Dave
Peters(bass).
The music that has been recorded most
recently mirror’s the direction of where my life is
now...I have been fortunate to have been given
another chance in this life and I’m thankful to share
that this is my 18th month of sobriety...I see
tragedy after tragedy from disaster’s and
terrorism and the effects of war on the innocent,
so in my own small way I try to express through
music, songs of hope and healing...but in the very
least I hope that you find these songs
entertaining...

Follow your
bliss,

Ralph Buckley

A mutual friend has sent me to your site.
I am so glad that I have found you today.
My 19 yr. old son's best friend of 6 years passed away Friday in a single car accident. Tomorrow we will be laying him to rest. 'Kramer' was a mear 21 yrs. old and as my son describes him, "Mom he gives new meaning to the word friend"....of course all are hearts are aching..tomorrow, I want to do a little post, just for him...I am not sure I will even be able to find the words.

Your music has made me cry...given me comfort...and it is beautiful....Helen

If you'd like to take a ride through life's struggles, hardships and spiritual euphoria, then sit back, close your eyes and fly with Ralph Buckley. He will compfort you, scare the hell out of you, rock you and inspire you, but most importantly he will return you home safe. More than I can say for that guy on track 2, Uncle Sam.

  • I'm so glad I finally get to hear this

This is the kind of music I've been trying to create with my band. I'm glad to say that apon hearing this CD once I wrote a 7-minute ballad(my longest by far)and am very happy with it. Thanks for the inspiration.
