Meet Buckman Coe. He's a guitar weilding force of peace, love and music, and he's releasing his message to the world, literally by the mountain's feet, from his current home in Vancouver. By The Mountain's Feet, the new album, is a collection of songs that creates a feeling normally reserved by your favorite music festival; conscious roots rock that feels as good as the sun beating down on your face. The lead single "Not So Farfetched" stands out with its message; 'there's only one moment to be living in', delivered with pure sweet vocals on top of groovy guitar and a tribal pulse, as does "Paranoia", the ethereal, driving rock song with a vaguely Spanish bent. The pedal steel haunts "Leaving Samsara", while the tambourine and harmonica brighten the upbeat and cheeky "Honey Child". "The Devil's In You" has a groove that brings out a little electricity, while "Rest" and "Not So Farfetched" smooth it out, returning the listener to that feet in the creek, relaxed summer vibe. By The Mountain's Feet was produced by Jason Kechely and recorded at Profile Sound and The Factory, mixed by Chon and Jason Kechely at Profile Sound, and mastered by Graemme Brown at Zen Mastering.
