Album Notes

The album tells a story of a kid who was born a mile off Fremont Street, Las Vegas in the early 70's. Then, who's parents who must get their family out of the Glitter Gulch, make the trip over the Cajon Pass as they had before into California but this time to stay, in a speck of a town called Mira Loma, where they would farm a few acres.
Dad has a congregation, he's a holy ghost preacher, while Mom, kids and hands are always sharing songs as they tend the farm. The family continues to move though, and to various rural areas of the Inland Empire they go. Places with names like Temecula, Norco, Riverside, Murrieta, Perris and Elsinore to live there and lead folks in startin' up lil' churches. This all turns to become to much unrest and lends to a young man's giving up on some things and getting on out there to any ol'place any place at all. Writing them songs, playing that guitar and always being somewhere round the sound of a loco's whistle blowin' are his saving grace. And grace he will very much need. Under the cover of the moon, no cloud will keep it from, lighting his way.

a beautiful, well played, melodic CD

This is well played country rock.  I have been listening to it over and over again.  Mark Nemetz, the songwriter, writes beautiful, melodic tunes, witb unique, interesting lyrics.  It seems to be a story of his youth and the songs sound very personal, full of detail.  Thank You, Las Vegas, is the best song.  It is instantly hummable, upbeat, and the guitar playing is very, very good.  This is great music for people who like country music that is roots oriented, as opposed to slickly commercial.  Listen to a few cuts.  The whole album is very strong.  I am very greatful to RRRadio.com for their podcast, which turned me on to this great band

The melody.The force of this CD is the melody.The Bucksworth comes from the parts of Riverside,and they make us to listen of the beatiful examples much coutry-rock as it was made once.Good played and sung(good the voice of Mark Nemetz)better.Ballads descibe stories of the great West and are sincere homage to their earth of provenience.Not only ballads but also some good beloved rock(Drop Me Down)in this CD,but the melodys always in the first line.Listening.
