Album Notes

The Buckthorns are a popular local singing group based in Lake Forest, Illinois. Since 1995, the group's seven men and six women have performed throughout the Chicago area and on live television to raise money for a variety of charities. The Buckthorns' repertoire ranges from rock and roll oldies to folk, country, gospel, doo wop, religious choral and holiday arrangements. They perform both a cappella and with accompaniment that includes guitar, keyboard and percussion.

Members of the Buckthorns include Carmen Gunning, Susie McMurray, June Miller, Liz Moffitt, Kimberly Moss, Jim Passalino, Louise Ries, Steve Ragsdale, Michael Shea, Walt Sloan, Sandy Stuart, Mary Jane Stutz, and Sandy Turner.
