ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I started learning cords on the guitar at eight years old. I Sang and played with an older brother in early teens, singing mostly country songs, and performed on TV at age twelve. During high school years, I had my own group for a few years up until I was 21 years old, at which time I got married and layed down the guitar and stopped the singing and playing except singing in church, playing the piano, which I still do. After several years of a divorce, I decided to start back singing and playing country music. A friend, who I grew up with and has played together some in our teenage days, has a recording studio, but had only recorded gospel recordings. After several weeks talking about it, we decided to challenge to record a CD of Country Clssics, with myself as the artist. So here you have it. Hope you enjoy the CD. Buford Parker

Such soothing, calming, beautiful music
Sad, yes, but yet somehow soothing, somehow comforting. Buford sings with such feeling, like every word is so true for him. He has made me love country music again because I've never heard anything in a long time that has touched me so much.
