robert sloan mclaughlin is an almost 20 year veteran of the charlotte, nc music scene with such critically acclaimed bands as oddmann's attic, random ged, v. jedhi quintet, d ohm randeji and the secret weapon. a guitarist of many many years, sloan made the switch to acoustic drums when he and longtime collaborator christopher howe holston reunited to form bullship. his simple yet creative beats are the mast upon which the mainsail of chris' guitar is raised, the disturbing force of the new sound called .wav.

christopher howe holston is an almost 20 year veteran of the charlotte, nc music scene with such well received bands as oddmann's attic, random ged, v. jedhi quintet, d ohm randeji, super ape and cinco. a vocalist of many many years, chris picked up the guitar at v. jedhi quintet's inception and never put it down. his understated yet elegant rhythms are the mainsail from which the boom of jason phillip michel's bass is suspended, the cascading crest that defines the new sound called .wav.

jason phillip michel is an almost 20 year veteran of the charlotte, nc music scene with such genre-defying acts as black plastic, the mcclintock gs and super ape, as well as his own largely electronic solo recordings and sound installations. a vocalist of many many years, jason picked up the electric bass at the urging of his former roommate and longtime friend chris. his sparse, yet perfectly placed propagations are the boom upon which chris' mainsail is anchored, the trembling trough of the new sound called .wav.
