Quirky and experimental modern-rock mixed with 70's lounge, flavored with innovative fretless-guitar and synth-guitar. Picture an urban metal band getting unruly at a karaoke bar, or Tom Jones singing with Mr. Bungle - that's Bumblefoot's "Uncool" CD. Riding the fence between romantic and hostile, classy and profane, like a musical take-off from the script of a future Austin Powers film. Intense yet lighthearted, entertaining with a hint of bottled-up anger, a fragile balance on the verge of exploding.
Some call him a "Frank Zappa for the next generation"
Others call him nuts.

ARTIST BIO:
Bumblefoot (aka Ron Thal) is a recording artist and international touring artist from NYC with seven albums released since 1995. Known for his unusual guitar-work, Bumblefoot has been on the covers of guitar magazines around the world. His guitar playing can be heard in the Spanish guitar soloing of Jessica Simpson's "Irresistible" dance mix, the punky guitar riff of SpikeTV Network's "MXC" theme song, in the background of MTV's The Osbornes, The Real World...
Bumblefoot works out of his studio in Princeton NJ where he collaborates with artists as a songwriter/producer and writes for publishing companies, video games and TV shows. Bumblefoot is a volunteer for the MS Research Foundation (www.msrf.org), a non-profit organization that donates funds directly to Multiple Sclerosis research.

This is, without question, my favorite album by anyone ever. If I had to listen to one album for the rest of my life it would be this one, I wouldn't ever have to get up to skip tracks or anything. 22 out of 4!

Utter Genius

Very much in the Mr Bungle vein of serious musicianship and seriously daft music- there is not much in the way of warp speed playing on this album. But Ron is a master of the fretless guitar and his playing is innovative as ever. If you enjoy music that changes genre in one song more than most artists manage in a lifetime, you will appreciate this album.
