Country done right

Not much to say other than this is country (or Americana) done RIGHT. Bumpkin's easy delivery along with the top notch musicianship makes this one of the better discs of 2007. Stand out tracks include: "Nowhere To Go", "Girl Don't Call Me Blues" and " You Got The Right To Be Stupid". I highly recommend. And hey, since the disc is affordably priced pick up one of Bumpkin's earlier efforts while you're at it. Cigars aren't cheap you know? Bumpkin returns with another classic album, this is real country for real country music fans. I think any fan of Johnny Cash, Dwight, or Old 97s will love this. Bumpkin writes hard living tunes about drinking and women. These women are evil, and their antics only get worse as the songs go on. The women folk all need to be pounded through the boxsprings, that will solve the problems. "Nowhere to Go" is the first single and really sets the stage for a brilliant but concise album.
