Bunker Soldier emerges once again to deliver his best written and produced songs ever! "Triple Threat" contains 3 songs for fans of pounding bass, Gary Numan style riffs and KMFDM energy. Bunker decided to spend all his time and money in the studio on doing 3 songs completely right in every aspect. The mix on these tracks is most impressive! Recorded at the Panhandle House and produced by Erik Herbst, fans of Bunker Soldier will be totally blown away by these new offerings!

"Warlocked" will be your newest dancefloor anthem with its Middle-Eastern chorus....."Flying" , track 2, is sung by Hildegunn Surdal, a 21 year old Norwegian jazz singer with the voice of an angel. "Flying" will be released as a radio single and is Bunker Soldier's best song to date! She is constantly getting compared to Sarah McLachlan and Delerium! "Firewall" is straight-up industrial dance music right for getting the club shaking. Deep bass and drums give way to light synths, only to be driven back into the darkness over and over again, as is Bunker Soldier's style.

***"Triple Threat" was named to reflect Bunker Soldier's clever and lethal mixing of Industrial, Synthpop and Techno styles. Also...

Bunker Soldier's full name contains 3 T's -
Timothy Thomas Tyran

This is his 3rd CD.***

Don't forget to try out Bunker's 2 other CD's available only through CdBaby.com. "QUITE A DILEMMA", released in 1996, was Bunker Soldier's first CD. If you love "Flying" you must absolutely check out "Infection" from that cd. It's one of Bunker Soldier's best songs!

"INNUENDO", released in 1999, is for Industrial and Goth fans looking for true underground gems. If "Triple Threat" is too polished of a sound for you, check out the angst of "Innuendo." "Break the Ice" is also a must listen! Both CD's are available for only $9.99 each.

Print ads will be placed in Belgium's 'Side-Line Magazine', Canada's 'Comatose Rose', England's 'Kaleidoscope' and California's 'Outburn' magazines to promote "Triple Threat".

Some frequently asked questions about Bunker Soldier:

q. Why the name Bunker Soldier?

a. Taken from the song title "Bunker Soldiers" from Tim's favorite band, OMD.

q. When I hear the name Bunker Soldier, I envision a much harsher sound to go with the name. Why does he not change the name to better reflect his melodic style of writing?

a. He actually entertained that idea. But after much thought, he called it off. You will hear attempts to delve into that harsher edge of electronic music, but Tim always seems to touch base with melody as soon as the water gets too rough. That is his trademark sound. Bunker Soldier will never be that in-your-face electronic thrash band that the name might imply. But changing it now, after 10 years, really doesn't make any sense. Remember, the name came from a synthpop band.

q. Bunker Soldier looks like an angry person in most pictures I have seen, especially in live shots. But the music is somewhat positive and danceable, what gives?

a. You must see Bunker Soldier live to understand this. His shows are absolutely insane and full of energy. His live set is all fast industrial songs delivered with raw emotion. There are no statues behind keyboards on stage with him. Everything is running amok! After a couple beers and thoughts of his ex-fiancee, all hell breaks loose and the sinister Bunker emerges. Once the show is over, back to the easy going, laid back individual known as Tim Tyran.

q. Why did he chose Hildegunn Surdal to sing "Flying?" Is she a part of the band "Bunker Soldier?"

a. Tim can't imagine any other voice on that track. Her voice is perfect and is just what he had in mind when he wrote the song. She is an independent artist with a very bright future, amd he would like to work with her again in the future. Bunker Soldier has always had many different voices on many different tracks. All selected to "fit" the mood and the song. There is no lead singer for Bunker Soldier, just a lead composer.

Flying could be the next electronica anthem in every club across the world.
author: Marc 'the MEMORY man' Urselli-Schaerer
Texas-based aviation electronics graduate, scuba instructor, airline pilot, and, of course, musician Timothy Tyran and his project Bunker Soldier, display a great and rare to find maturity in songwriting and production. Believe it or not, he has been around making music and performing live for 10 years, but has released only 2 records so far. To celebrate the decade, his third release, this three track CD single entitled Triple Threat, came out. Sporting great music, dynamism and energy, Bunker Soldier goes from an aggressive and holy sounding, heavily Middle Eastern influenced track, to what could be the next electronica anthem in every club across the world, only to wrap it up with a dancefloor-friendly electro tune. Warlocked couldn't come at a better time and sounds like an Arab/American/German mixture of Industrial/Metal/Rai influenced by Die Krupps, Front Line Assembly, Muslimgauze and Null Device. Flying features 21 year old Norwegian jazz singer Hildegunn Surdal and layers pads, heavenly voices and strong electronic textures in a way that reminds me of Conjure One/Delerium. Firewall is another instrumental track with some guitar activity, but mostly sticks around Gary Numan influenced electronic-dance territories. I am not familiar with his previous records, unfortunately, and unless you consider heterogeneousness a minus, this is truly a great release and a fantastic celebration. I am looking forward to hearing more (hopefully this CD-S will lead us to a full length album before another 3 years go by). -Marc 'the MEMORY Man' Urselli-Schaerer / www.chaindlk.org Ezine

A solid album from beginning to end. Leaves you wanting more!
author: COMATOSE ROSE MAGAZINE - Canada
Dance like you've never danced before. From the Eastern flavoured Warlocked, to the feel-good Flying, and the EBM stylings of Firewall, Bunker Soldier's third commercial release is a compact but solid piece of work. Frontman Tim Tyran's dance track beats are based greatly on what he claims he would like to hear when he goes to clubs. The real standout on the EP is Flying. With its catchy melody and upbeat lyrics, it is sure to be stuck in the heads of its listeners for hours on end. All three tracks are dance worthy to fans of groovy electronica and synthpop, making it a must have for all the club DJ's out there looking for something new to throw on their playlist. A solid album from beginning to end, it flows well, gets you moving, and leaves you wanting more! 4/5 -Jesse Davis / Comatose Rose

FLYING is radio friendly synthpop; angelic vocals & catchy hooks.
author: ReGen Magazine - San Francisco, CA.
From Niagara Falls comes Timothy Tyran, a.k.a. Bunker Soldier. Since the mid-90's, he has been weaving a web of intricate electronic and industrial soundscapes that blend the structure and complexity of classical with the urgency and driving beats of modern dance music. Triple Threat is appropriately named, as these three tracks present equal parts to a thematic whole. From the sitar-like openings of Warlocked, to the synthpop-flavored Flying, to the exquisate melodies of Firewall, this three-tracker sends the listener into a trance-like state with its intertwining elements of technology and world/ethnic music. Warlocked comes across as music for a 21st century harem; with its tribal beats and Middle Eastern/Indian melodies, along with some subtle traces of guitars, one can conjure images of belly dancers and flying carpets over the Hades landscape of Blade Runner. Flying is radio friendly synthpop feauturing the vocals of Hildegunn Gjerdrem Surdal (a popular Norwegian jazz singer). Her angelic vocals and catchy hooks on this song put all the bubblegum pop radio fodder to shame. Firewall closes things off with a wash of airy synthesizer melodies reminiscent of the first track, but more of a continuance as opposed to a reprise. There exists a strong sense of these three songs being complimentary to each other as part of a concept and not just three songs tacked together. The title as a sports term (meaning when a player is adept at all aspects of the game) supports this notion; all bases are covered, from industrial to dance to synthpop to ethnic music. While the CD clocks in at less than twelve minutes, the music here should have the listener putting it on repeat for more than a few spins. CATEGORY - Electropop

Warlocked is incredibly catchy!
author: Moving Hands Music Magazine - Sweden
Though I have no previous experience of Bunker Soldier (and there are apparently two previous releases), the name alone conjured images of a Funker Vogt/Feindflug-ish band pumping beats and shouting senseless words commonly associated with war and such. Bunker Soldier is however not remotely like that. Instead, the very first thing that reaches my ears is an industrial take on classic middle-eastern melodies and like female vocals on the track Warlocked. Though this isn't my poison of choice, it is incredibly catchy and produced instant twitches to turn up the volume a notch. Triple Threat is thought to be a showcase of all of Bunker Soldier's talents or takes on electronic music and so the perspective shifts sharply when Flying takes off. Firewall is pretty good, but lacks a proper hook. Bunker Soldier seems to have the skills required to write good songs. Fredric During -www.movinghands.net
