Bunmi Akangbe holds a bachelor degree in English and Theartrical Arts from a Nigerian University before moving to the United States in 1998.

Bunmi is an ordained Evangelist who has served in various arms of the church.

She is a gifted composer, song writer and singer who always writes songs with God's inspiration. Her album "NIGERIA YIO DARA" is an assurance to the Nigerians both at home and the diasporas that their country will one day be great again.The album depicts the Artist as an ardent believer in the worship of God as our Maker, as reflected in some of the tracks in which the names of God are exalted. Also contained in the album are prayer tracks which are delight to people who believe in the power of prayers.

Characteristically of her, Bunmi also included tracks in the album in which she advises people to live right for the coming of the LOrd. Generally she evangelises through her music.
