ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Burden of man is the struggle to keep love alive in this loveless modern day free world. The original concept of the band was to write a few dark acoustic love songs from personal experience, as therapy to mend a half broken heart. However, over time it has become a band that flirts with various rock genres and confronts painful relationship issues with a mischievous grin.

Carlos Velazquez and Shannon Young have a long history together that has included being former lovers and future enemies. They provide the male and female vocals that are easy to listen to, and represent a dialogue between the sexes. After years of playing in bands together, most notably Falling out of Love (2001-2003), their on stage dynamic includes a vulnerable, contentious, and loving banter that is one of a kind.
