ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Aaron musical journey has taken him to widely varied and seemingly disparate places. He's been a folksinger, a Shakespearean muse, a bluegrass (more like new-grass) player, an old-time singer, a member of an avant-garde microtonal choral ensemble, an award winning songwriter, and a successful performer in his own right. Based in acoustic folk, Aaron's expansive sound speaks to even wider influences, creating a bridge between the old and the new to create a style all his own.

Exploring modern sounds, but always bringing along the time tested traditions of song-craft and presentation, he has charmed audiences from the Carolinas to California, carrying his heartfelt acoustic tone all the way across the Atlantic to Ireland. A finalist in many songwriting competitions including the Hank Williams Songwriting Contest and the North Carolina Songwriter's Cooperative Song Contest, Aaron has also played alongside such acoustic visionaries as Keller Williams, Acoustic Syndicate, The Larry Keel Experience, The Avett Brothers, and Old Crow Medicine Show.
