Melinda Marks Burgard,M.A.,is a New York State Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT)and Certified Music Therapist who received her training at New York University. She has been facilitating Music Therapy groups with a variety of populations for over 20 years.
She currently specializes in working with children with special needs (including those on the Autism Spectrum), as well as typical "Mommy and Me" style Early Childhood Music programs for infants through preschoolers in Libraries in Warwick and Greenwood Lake, New York. She has a private practice and has actively been creating Music Therapy programs for typical Seniors as well as those on Palliative Care and suffering from Alzheimer's Disease in the tri-state areas. Home and Nursing Home visits can be arranged.
