Steve Burleson is a piano teacher, composer and arranger living in Sussex, Wisconsin. His piano music melds contemporary, classical, new age and jazz styles. The Tin Man is the first CD in the Oz Trilogy that applies Steve's unique but highly accessible playing style to folk music standards and originals.
The "music listener" will enjoy the atmosphere created by The Tin Man, the "music analyst" will contemplate the structural and harmonic nuances of the arrangements and the "pianist" will marvel over the rhythmic and technical challenges of this "live to disc" performance.
The tradition of giving an annual CD as a holiday gift to friends, family and piano students started several years ago. The Tin Man project reflects the passion and inspiration Steve derives from music.
