Album Notes

The music is a blend of soul, funk and the album has an African flavour as a result of the band's partnership with Nigerian born saxophone player and vocalist Olu Adeniran. Olu comes from a rich musical background in Lagos and played with the band until he was deported in early 2010. The band is influenced by a mixture of 60's & 70's New Orleans funk, Motown with additional inspiration from African artists such as Fela Kuti, Franco Le and various West African highlife artists. "Stuck in Limbo" is a melting pot of music styles recorded over the last three years in a changing Dublin.
