The music of John Burrows and THE PERFECT STORM CD is a
trip into the world of acoustic based, Caribbean spiced, country rock music. His stylings have been compared to music that might result if Jimmy Buffet jammed with Gordon Lightfoot and Clint Black on a Carib island beach.

Lead singer and songwriter Burrows, plays exciting acoustic guitar, pedal steel guitar and harmonica, artfully blending influences from country,caribbean,folk, and rock music.
The Perfect Storm CD features some of the country's finast musicians. The beginning roosts of The Cocabanana Band can be heard clearly on The Perfect Storm


Burrows' first movie score won a Golden Eagle award at the Atlanta Film Festival and he is familiar to many of us through his writing and recording of many popular commercials, as well as his acclaimed CD, The Perfect Storm.

As an offshore sail boat captain (with a near death offshore survival experience) and mountain climber, he manages to bring his first-hand immersion of both the ocean and mountains to his lyrics and music.

The Perfect Storm is as real as it gets without being on board and getting wet!
