A delicious blend of the orchestral and the ambient. Eccentric rythms and strangled vocals with a couple of OOOH's in all the right places. Captivating and charming without putting you to sleep. This is absurdly good music.

Short, but oh so sweet

I'm as picky as they come when choosing CDs to buy at random. I'm a tight-wad. but anyway, after about 2 hours of trying to find one CD i would buy, i decided The Bursers were it. it's SO worth the money. Yeah, it's only 4 tracks, but i've listened to it so many times it's not even funny. it's a kind of "ambient" that you could let repeat for hours and still enjoy. the chord progressions are extremely thoughtful and engaging, yet no element of music overpowers anything else. every part is perfectly balanced and set in it's rightful place. like me, you'll write The Bursers a letter wishing for more after you've heard the EP.
