There is something significant taking place in local music, something just beneath the surface, and beyond the laid back sounds of Jawaiian and reggae staples. Rock and Roll in Hawaii is still alive and well. With a handful of national breakthrough acts in recent years, there are local musicians who are excited to welcome a new generation of Hawaiian rockers. Amongst this group stands three young men from Oahu's Kailua town; a band that goes by the name Büsekrüs (pronounced "Booz-ee-cruise").

Imagine a hybrid mix of Alternative, Pop-Rock and Reggae and you might start to get a clearer picture. On the Rocks feature twelve originals, showcasing the very best of what Busekrus has to offer. Their catchy, tight and smart songs have been described as "radio ready".
