Released in 1990 on the Cleveland-Artist-Only label, Banana Records, this 10 song disc of infectious Brit-Pop tunes was the second release by Butterfield 8. The first, "Just Listen", is available only on vinyl. Features Cleveland celebs Jim Jones (Pere Ubu) and Kevin McMahon (Lucky Pierre, Prick, NIN). Kevin also wrote one track (I Feel Better) and produced two. Also available on cassette (direct from artist).

Cleveland Power Pop at its best!

smart pop songs-buy it

I've owned this for a while and was disappointed not to see a follow up. Smart pop songs, sung with conviction, that deserve a wider audience. Can't Wait Much Longer has a real British Invasion sound with a lot of bite, and I love the shimmering background vocals on Oh, Teresa.
