TRACK 1: The cover of Radiohead's Last Flowers bookends this CD from Buzzie. It's an emotional torrent that gets straight to the heart of the matter. Recorded in one session with 20/20's Ron Flynt, this song captures the essence of the breakup song. "If you take me, then you'll get relief." But of course relief is not coming. As an added treat, on this EP, the instrument only version is included as the last track. The instrumentation is haunting and beautiful at the same time.
TRACK 2: Just Another Day covers the emotional rollercoaster of the creative artist. You've got good days and bad days, we all do, Buzzie just happens to write songs about the struggle at finding balance.
TRACK 3: I Wanna Love You is a "wishing things could be different" breakup song. "If I go away, I'll miss you..." It's a beautiful love song that is ultimately missed by the subject of the affections.
TRACK 4: I Was Wrong laments the travelling musician in relationship. "I'm out here and you over there... If I come home, will you still be there?" In the end the separation is too much and the moment has been missed.
TRACK 5: I Walk Away is the goodbye song that wraps up the sequence. Once the split is in motion there are things that begin to come out that might not be so pleasant. In this song the singer walks and then runs in the other direction. But ultimately he laughs at the poison that no longer affects him when seeing his ex.
TRACK 6: Last Flowers Instrumental gives you the chance to sing along with an amazing reinterpretation of Radiohead's hidden classic. A song that was written during The Bends sessions, Last Flowers was released as an Extra Track on In Rainbows. Ron Flynt's musicianship and interpretive style really makes this song into a new Buzzie classic.
