“I'm Truly Sorry” is the US release of Buzz King's “I Shave My Pussy,” released in the UK on Bristol Cities Records in 2002. “I Shave My Pussy” features five additional tracks.
Buzz King writes to amuse and provoke. The song titles give a hint of what to expect - “Hollywood is For Assholes,” “Jackin' Off,” and “There's a Junkie in the Band.” There's brutal honesty mixed with outright lies and sarcasm.
Describing music is tough. But we'll try to describe Buzz King:
a) The Pop side of bands like The Velvet Underground, Camper van Beethoven early Jonathan Richman with the feel of Bob Dylan's Basement Tapes. Good pub music. Ya know?
b) press says....
“Hot Dogs Is Good” sounds like mellow country
“I Shave My Pussy” sounds like good '60s Pop
“Oasis Blows” sounds like Oasis
Philip Stevenson provided masterful engineering/producing so the sound quality is on par with major label indie rock releases.
We want to continue building our UK following - so if you're a UK band - e-mail the band at mrbuzzking@gmail.com. Buzz has not played shows in a while - we're trying to lure him out to play.

They don’t care what they sing about, making their lyrics colorfully entertainin
author: Score! Music Magazine
The obscene choruses in some of these tunes really stay with the listener, played of course in a catchy melody so you’ll go around in the grocery store singing songs that are unacceptable in society like “Shave my pussy like a porno star” ("ISMP"), “I’m not worthy of someone so hip” ("I’m Not Worthy"). And other fun blurbs such as “Hollywood’s for assholes that need to play in metal bands” ("HFA"). “Watch out son, your mullet's begun to smoke, you’re too near the grill” ("Hot Dogs Is Good").
These people don’t care what they sing about, making the Buzz King lyrical content colorfully entertaining in a sick way. The music is predominantly a throwback of English guitar rock with heavy distortion, and steady rhythm. They know how to pull the vulgarity off with their sound. I would recommend this album if you’re into this kind of thing, which is anything but serious. Keep in mind that it's not for those scared of a good ass spanking, or those looking for the greatest rock band in the world- and if you're easily offended, then turn your head if you should happen to be faced with “the toddler” flipping you off.
