Album Notes

Young people often have a hard time deciding what they want to do with their lives.
Buzzy "Beano" Langford never had that problem. After getting his first guitar at the
age of eleven, his fate was cast in stone. Music was his dream and he never gave up on it.
Now, after a long and successful musical career, and on the verge of being inducted into
the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame with long time bands mates........you would think that
he wouldn't have anything to prove and could rest on his laurels. Well, think again........
because the record you are holding is proof that he's only scratched the surface. Over
the years Buzzy has written innumerable songs that reflect his many musical influences.
"between hay & grass" stems from his love of coutry-rock. The music here reflects the
hours upon hours of playing and listening to the music of such artists as Hank Williams,
Poco, Buffalo Springfield, Neil Young, the Eagles, & countless others. With this record
he finally has the opportunity to show the love & respect for a music that he has always
held close to his heart. And i'm sure he's happy for the opportunity to share it with you.
