Album Notes

A native of Madison County, Mississippi, Gospel Singer and Actress Bernice Warren Greene has spent most of her life in Pennsylvania where she currently resides. A versatile performer, Ms. Greene travels throughout the East Coast performing in stage plays, musicals, storytelling events, and dinner theatres at a variety of venues, and maintains a busy ministry schedule as well.

Ms. Greene's professional credits include recording with the LeHigh Valley Voices of Praise Choir,releasing an album of her own original songs "Success Is Just A Prayer Away" (re-released in CD format in 2008), television appearances, a 2008 appearance as Ella Fitzgerald in a Broadway
Bound Productions program, and even a cameo appearance in the hit movie Hairspray!

Always active in her Church, Bernice has served as Pastor's Aide, a member of the Missionary Society, and as choir director and assistant director for both Junior and Mass choirs. Her current ministry encompasses nursing home and prison ministry, special prayer intercession requests, church and community services, weddings, and funerals, while her powerful voice and engaging demeanor make
her a favorite performer for Martin Luther King Jr. and Black History Month annual celebrations, Independence Day events, and other special community and Church programs. She is a lifelong member of the NAACP. Her professional portfolio includes newspaper articles praising public and stage performances as well as official commendations
and letters of thanks for ministry activities and inter-racial relations endeavors.

Son Kevin, daughter Dyneco, and several grandchildren help to keep Ms. Greene busy.
