Dynamic and Spirit-filled are just two ways to describe the music on By Faith's initial release, "Waiting".
All of the songs on "Waiting" are guitar-driven and lyrically melodic due to the talents of singer/songwriter Christine Duncan and her husband, guitarist/producer David Duncan.
This duo has been performing together for over a decade and their band, By Faith, is the ultimate realization of giving control of their music (and lives) to Christ Jesus.

Musical influences such as David Bowie, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Joni Mitchell and Heart get blended with real-life tales and Biblical-truths to produce a very unique style that moves from AOR heavy rock to acoustic folk but retains a consistent air from song to song; each song sounds different from the last but none sound out-of-place in the mix. From the extreme dynamics of the opening track, "Whole", to the radio friendly "Follow the Leader" and ending with the acoustic "Wherever I go", this disc is an enjoyable journey for the listener.

Chris and Dave are complimented on "Waiting" by a host of some of L.A.'s finest musicians; Jeff Frickman, Fin Johnston, Tom Strahle, Scott Mayo, Rique Pantoja and Ingrid Chun all lend their incredible talents to this disc and the results are spectacular. These musicians gathered together and created songs that are pleasing to both the ear and the soul.

Religious convictions and musical tastes are transcended by this disc; "Waiting" should be in your CD collection.
