BZ JAM the recipient of the 2002 Greek-Canadian Award for BEST URBAN/HIPHOP ARTIST has been called a "Legend" and a "Pioneer" in the Vancouver hip hop community. Since day one, BZ JAM has been a catalyst and a leader in the Vancouver hip hop community by being the first hardcore artist to come out of Vancouver releasing his underground classic CD 'Welcome to Honkysville' in 1993. BZ JAM has always paved the way for the young, up and coming artists to get involved in hip hop. Through Sugarshack Records or his landmark hip hop radio show 'In effect' on CiTR 101.9fm, he was always breaking all the new artists coming out of Vancouver and the US.

After a long hiatus BZ JAM has ventured back in to the hip hop game to pursue his passion of making music true to him. His highly anticipated new CD called 'It Ain't Greek to Me' is a return to his roots and Greek heritage. This blazing 10 track album pushes the envelope by combining the drums of hip hop with traditional Greek instruments such as the 'bouzouki'. BZ JAM always representing on the hardcore tip has put together a tight album with production from Junya & The Stunt man, along with BZ JAM's gritty Greek and English lyrics, this album makes for an essential listen.

Having had 2 singles achieve #1 status on the Greek-Canadian Top 40 chart, and another 3 singles charting in the top 20, The 'It Ain't Greek to Me' album has reached the 2500 sales mark and counting. After a very successful summer tour to Chicago, New York, Montreal & Toronto, BZ JAM is currently in the studio recording his next album.
