Hello! My name is Christina Carabini. I am an aspiring singer/songwriter. My new album, 'My Rules Remain' is a blend of country, jazz and bit of blues. The songs are 'heavy'. They describe who I am and what I believe. I love to sing and play the piano more than anything. I know everyone says this, but I have been performing since I could walk. My family would be eating dinner and my sister and I would have this little duet ready to go. We were just the cutest! From there, I started performing in plays and singing the National Anthem at athletic events. And now, here I am with my first completed album.
I grew up in San Juan Capistrano and went to a small high school. St Margaret's Episcopal School was a community that gave me the opportunity to try new things like being in the play and participating in several sports. From there, I decided on my dream school, St Mary's College, in the Bay Area. I was thrilled when I was asked to play Division I Lacrosse in college. Looking back, playing as a Gael was one of the best experiences of my life. I am so lucky to have a team of girls that care so much about me. I love them more than anything. I am very grateful for that program and what it has given me.
My other world is when my family and I take a break from our hectic American lives and go to our little farm house in Sarteano, Italy. This little town is so adorable in its simplicity and wholesomeness. The people there treat us like we are one of their own. During the summer we enjoy the Sarteano Jazz Festival where we can listen to outdoor concerts and dance in the piazza. My sister and I love to travel around by train, meet new people and visit small towns while trying to speak Italian ... I just love it.
From St. Mary's, I plan to stay in 'The City' for a while and pursue my music ambitions and connect with this great vibrant community. Having a degree in psychology from a top university, I should be able to land a great bartending job.
