If Patsy Cline had a sister, their harmonies would have sounded like this. Cabin Fever sings classics from the Americana songbook, with gorgeous vocals enhanced by rich tones of guitar, mandolin, Dobro, and fiddle.

notes
Cabin Fever is Dianne Bochsler and Tara Wolfe. Their debut CD - Spring Thaw - delivers a thoroughly enjoyable musical experience that is at once spirited and restful. You won't find better vocal harmonies in the Americana genre anywhere.
Spring Thaw consists of 15 favorite bluegrass, gospel, and old-time country classics and is enriched by the notable talents of several fine musicians, including the mandolin of Grammy winner John Reischman, the bluegrass dobro of Laurel Bliss, the guitars of David Weiss and Jerry Cohen, the fiddle of Mike Schway, and the bass of Ginny Snowe.
Reviews
"Their rich harmonies go down easy. The kind of singing that invites you in to sing right alongside, to find your own voice, your own harmony." - Northwest Sun
"...each vocalist proves herself as a gifted song interpreter." - The Bellingham Herald
"You never get tired of hearing good songs honestly sung, and that's what you have here with Cabin Fever. This is not a simple re-work of the best material of the folk canon; These talented women obviously share a great love of the music they make--you can hear it plain as day. What a refreshing record." - Korby Lenker
"Spring Thaw" has become the essential soundtrack for all of our backyard barbeques." - David Weiss

great music, great lyrics, great storytelling
author: maureenEach song in this cd tells a story, whether it is about a streetwalker, the orphan trains, or Punkin Brown. The music is great, the lyrics are great, the stories are great. I can't wait to hear their next cd.
Wonderful harmony, very easy listening
author: helen LeastmanThis is a great CD. Music is so nice to listen to, dace to, just enjoy. Dianne is my cousin's daughter. That makes her ever so special. Both she and Ms. Wolfe are wonderful to listen to. I am so happy to have this CD. Thanks.

The CD is terrific! If you like the "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" soundtrack, Allison Krauss, the Dixie Chicks, etc, you'll be into this sweet, honest, and gorgeous collection of bluegrass covers.
A remarkable contribution to society
author: Terry J. McKinnonWe have easily found that the major contributors to the world historically, in music and voice, possess a harmonic balance that can calm a Grizzly Bear, stop a child's tears, and uplift our hearts under any life circumstances we may face, once we tune into it. The CD SPRING THAW has this power. With admiration for the artists singing and playing, Terry J. McKinnon - Mosquito Creek Bluegrass
