The band cuts are extremely lush for a trio and were recorded live at John Gutman's Paradise Studio between hurricanes.
The disc features Joan Travis on bass and comedy circuit regular Dale Hoffman on drums.

Cool and Unusual
author: BookladyInteresting and unusual on all fronts- lyrically and musically. Some songs will stay in your mind for ages because of the beautiful melodies, and others will set you thinking because of the thoughtful and pointed lyrics. Great stuff!
great stories, blistering performance, hooks abound
author: LnjamesDarkside Heaven is an absolute treasure! Transcending any specific genre, DH treats folk, metal, rock, GuitarHeroRock (yep, that's a genre)with equal in-your-faceness. Some of this stuff oughta be on the radio. No, wait! That would ruin it. Most of the songs on DH could be made into movies, I swear.
