Album Notes

This compilation is part of 2 CD set (the other album is the Ballads). It is culled from the 5 Ted Russell Kamp records - some self released and some with distribution from Dualtone records.
The music is part American roots music: country, blues, soul, New Orleans inspired, and part modern singer songwriter stuff. Inspired by Guy Clark, Leon Russell, Kris Kristofferson, electric Bob Dylan, Gram Parsons, Townes Van Zandt and others.
Ted's albums have done very well with Americana radio in the U.S. and in Europe and he is touring constantly on his own and with Shooter Jennings.
