Album Notes

Musician, composer, and arranger

Jimmy Calire has had an extraordinary and versatile career. Playing keyboards and saxophone , he toured world wide for several years with the group" America".

In the late 60's he was a member of the legendary "Raven" a Buffalo, New York based band that went on to become a favorite of musicians all around the country.

Jimmy has recently worked as musical director for the The Flying H Group, and has received rave reviews for his work in several productions . " Beggars, The Musical", which featured his original songs played to packed houses.

He has served as band leader for the Bowlful of Blues All Star house band , backing many of the artists who appear there.

A musicians musician, Jimmy is at home playing or writing in all styles from tough roadhouse shuffling and Boogie Woogie to string quartets and straight ahead jazz.

He is equally at home in piano trios Hammond B3 groups, guitar based blues bands, Big Bands or solo. His unique voice is evident in any setting.

This is a one of a kind CD.  The best jazz Christmas CD I've heard in a long long time. A great selection of songs and a wonderful variety of jazz styles.   It's a keeper

I looked for this album after downloading a sample from another site.  They wanted $39.99!!! I was so happy to find it here.  This will be a great Christmas tradition in our family!  Try listening to a few songs and you will be hooked!
